It’s FRIYAY! I don’t know about you, but even though this week was technically a short one, I kept thinking yesterday was Friday ALL day (which is the worst when you realize it isn’t). My daughter started her first full day of Pre-K this morning and now that school has started, the house is suddenly much quieter. This little corner is flooded with light in the mornings and has become my happy space. It is where I work on the blog and other interior design projects and is where I keep pretty much everything I need to function as a mom, from my calendar and color tabbed binders for each of the kids to storing gift wrap, stationary, and birthday presents.
As soon as I get a moment to myself, I pour (another) cup of coffee and settle into this cozy spot. The seat is surprisingly comfortable and the secretary was a Craigslist steal for $150! I still need to tweak the shelf styling and I’m waiting for grasscloth wallpaper to arrive to put on the back of the shelves, but I love how it’s turned out so far. To shop the look, all of the links (or very similar ones) are below.
We have a packed weekend, including celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary, so I will be taking a break from the blog over the next few days, but will be back Monday. Have a great weekend!

POST UPDATE: I have gotten quite a few requests asking for additional green book sources since the set I posted has already been purchased. Similar sets that I think are pretty are here, here, and here. If you want a larger collection of books with the same color story, this set is one of the best ones I have seen lately. I have also gotten inquiries about the small trinket box in the secretary. The box was from antique stores but similar ones are here and here.
