Our Indian Summer is slowly coming to an end and if you look closely the leaves are already starting to fall to the ground. You may have even noticed that between the days of 80 degree weather, there is a slight chill in the air. Like it or not, Fall is coming and bringing with it the inevitable slew of entertaining and parties. I am working on a Fall tablescape to help you with your own parties (which I hope to share tomorrow) and in the process I have collected a few of my favorite Fall Entertaining Essentials.

I for one, am ready for Fall and just ordered my go-to Fall candle that I get ever September.  My entire family knows that as soon as that baby arrives and I light it, summer is officially over in our house. If you are just meeting me through the blog you are about to find out that I love the holidays. Consider yourself warned- I am one of “those people” and there will probably be a lot of seasonal posts to come in future weeks.  Despite my borderline obnoxious love of everything holiday, I am not a pumpkin person as far as seasonal decor goes. I am guilty of ordering quite a few pumpkin spice lattes and eating too many Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s, but I am not someone who decorates their house with pumpkins of all different shapes, sizes, and colors. I have nothing against pumpkin decor lovers, I am just not one of them.  Instead, when it comes to Autumnal (and Christmas) decor, I tend to lean more towards a harvest or Williamsburg look- think greenery with fruits and flowers in fall hues.

So all of that being said, today I am sharing a combination of both Fall Entertaining Essentials as well as some of my personal Fall Favorites.  They aren’t all necessarily decor focused, but are a few little things that make me happy and help me to settle in and start enjoying the new season. It’s (almost) Fall Ya’ll!

Do you have the PB garland? I have been looking for several years but never pull the trigger. Hard to know how real it will look when you haven’t seen it in person.

I do and I love it but thats because its a live garland. I am the same way with faux flowers and plants and I’m incredibly picky and am rarely impressed with the appearance. I LOVE the live garlands and greenery bunches this year at Pottery Barn and I am not a die hard PB fan. They just have some great picks this season. I will say when I was in the store they had a faux Eucalyptus garland that looked pretty convincing, but I am like you and couldn’t pull the trigger so I spent a little bit more and got a live one.
