Weekend Sales and Fall Fashion Picks for Kids

Happy Friday Friends! Until today, we have been having weather int he mid 80s with the exception of a few chilly days here and there and I definitely dragged my feet with back to school shopping as a result.

Almost everything I have ordered for both kids has arrived so I thought I would share some of my favorites. My four year old daughter loves unicorns, purple, stripes and only wants to wear dresses.  She likes to dress herself and shopping for her has gotten hard lately because if she doesn’t like it she won’t wear it.  As a result, all of the girl picks are officially four year old girl approved. Shopping for my two year old son is an entirely different story. He goes to an outdoor school program two mornings a week where he spends at least two hours outside regardless of weather. Needless to say, I needed to invest in some good gear that will last and keep him warm. The fact that he goes through at least three outfits a day on school days doesn’t make it any easier. As always, let me know if you have any questions about sizing.

I don’t have the Patagonia jacket (#1) because they don’t make it in my son’s size. I saw it in the store and almost bought one for him for when he is older because it is SO cute! I ended up getting this one, which is similar and is super cozy. A few other outdoor/rough and tumble pieces I did get though and love so far are this quarter zip, this vest, and this sweatshirt.

*A note on the 3-in-1 Jacket (#9): I am the biggest cheerleader for this jacket. It was recommended to me by other moms who swore it was not only the warmest thing out there but also by far the best bang for your buck since its a 3-in-1.  They weren’t kidding! He has already worn the fleece during cold snaps and the shell on rainy days and they fit and wear like a dream. I should also say that I know it is way too early for winter hats, but I have found that with kids’ hats the cute ones sell out fast, so if you find one you like get it now!

*I also got my daughter this dress which is pricey but it is so beautiful in person I couldn’t not share it.  Other recent favorites of hers are this vest, these leggings, these leggings, and this top.
