Today I’m sharing one more home from the December 2018 edition of House Beautiful. I know I just shared one last week but this edition was so lovely it was hard not to share everything. For those who didn’t know, this issue sadly marks Sophie Dow’s exit from House Beautiful. She is a genius and an inspiration and her absence will be deeply felt. I would argue that Dow saved the best for last, featuring this Palm Beach home designed by the talented Leta Austin Foster. I think many of you will be as hooked as I was upon simply reading description on the first page: “Harking back to the palm beach heyday of the 1950s, a legendary designer Leta Austin Foster, channels the spirit of Billy Baldwin in rooms filled with classic antiques, blue-and-white prints, and chinese art.”
My love affair with blue and white continues and after I saw this stunning breakfast room I knew I needed to break it down and share with you how to get the look. Happy Monday and I hope everyone has a great week!
A palette of soft pinks, greens, and taupes are the perfect accent to the blue and white palette throughout the rest of house.
The classics never go out of style.
It didn’t get any rest this weekend and I could cozy up in this bed right now in a heartbeat!
Once I realized Christmas is only fourteen days away I went into panic mode. I love winter, but would rather be here relaxing right now!
