Brunch Bunch

Happy Sunday! Did it snow where you are? We woke up to a Winter Wonderland and no matter my age, I always love waking up and feeling like I’m in a snow globe. The kids are playing with my husband outside (God Bless him) and I am snuggled up with a cup of coffee working on tomorrow’s blog post. I promised I’d join them for round two of snow games but for right now I am happy as a clam watching them make snow angels together.

My Instagram post today mentioned that Sundays are for moments that make you pause and this is one of those moments. Life can get so hectic between schedules, carpool lines, meal planning, and work. Snow days allow me to slow down, regroup, and be present in the moment. Although that’s something I try to do everyday, it’s hard! So even if you aren’t having a snow day like we are, I hope you get a few moments to simply be happy, press pause, and give thanks. This life is a beautiful thing.

*You guys blew me away with your engagement in the Art Under $250 post. I cannot wait to see pictures of all the gorgeous pieces in your homes!

*It started snowing here yesterday evening so last night I made cinnamon rolls for this morning. These are the BEST and EASIEST cinnamon rolls and are a staple in our house on snow days and special occasions.

*Mary McGee makes decorating with pink look easy in this colorful Massachusetts Georgian

*My favorite leggings of the season are 20% off and they won’t be restocking. I love them so much I just bought them in black too. Note on sizing: I am typically a 4/6 in bottoms but wear these in a medium.

*I also scooped up this sweater from the Tuckernuck sale

*Every year I do the Simplify Challenge by Emily Ley. It’s just the best.

XO,

Sophie
