Design Spotlight: Melissa Haynes

When I was recently going through the portfolio of Arkansas designer Melissa Haynes for my own dining room inspiration (her dining rooms are my favorite) I found myself saving so much of her work that I knew I needed to feature her in Designer Spotlight immediately! I am always drawn to the soft blue and green tones she uses interspersed with metallics and whites. Her spaces are traditional but family friendly with clean lines and undeniably elegant details.

I hope you like her work as much as I do and here are some of my favorite spaces of hers to help you get through your Wednesday!

I love how the beautiful seafoam green backsplash extends up to the ceiling in this kitchen

Hayne’s use of eclectic elements in this sitting room is vibrant and fresh
I don’t know if I would ever leave this tub. How beautiful are the ball and claw feet?
Dining room perfection!

Layering of neutrals and creams create a warm and inviting living space

Haynes extends the colors from the living room above to create a tranquil family room

The kitchen is equally as charming and timeless…

This has been a long time favorite vignette of mine. I love the unexpected pop of animal print!

I have posted this bedroom on Instagram before and it is my go to inspiration image for creating my daughter’s “big girl” room

This cream and sage green master bedroom is so calming and peaceful

Can you imagine having this sweet bedroom as a child? It is just divine.

Every detail of this bathroom is exquisite from the trim on the chair to the hardware on the cabinets

Another lovely sitting area

This dining room…I die! I am not usually a huge fan of contemporary chandeliers but this light fixture is perfection in this space.

Another dreamy, light filled bathroom

A casual twist on a formal dining room that leads to a sunroom shown in more detail at the end of the post.

Can you believe this foyer is in a sorority house? I was in a sorority in college, but it was definitely not this chic!

Isn’t the mix of textiles paired with the pop of blue from the butler’s pantry beautiful?

I told you…her dining rooms are exceptional

I love how this sunroom feels like it is an actual outdoor living space!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

XO,

Sophie
