Fashion Friday: Loungewear Favorites

It’s almost the weekend and I don’t know about you but it can’t get here soon enough. If we have anymore snow days I will lose my mind but it has given me the excuse to live in my gym clothes and loungewear…which as a stay at home mom, I do anyway more than I’d like to admit. So, when it comes to the quote at the top of this post, I am an expert on all these categories and I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you today.

Also, a quick blog update: I am going to be combining my Fashion Fridays and Brunch Bunch posts into one big weekly round up on Fridays. Creating three blog posts from Friday-Monday just requires too many hours in the day. It has been amazing how quickly the blog has grown and continues to grow and I cannot thank you enough. I just want to make sure that it is not taking away from the balance in my lie and my most important job, being a mom. I also want to make sure I have enough time to create thoughtful, enjoyable content, so I hope you understand. Thank you again for all of your support!

This hoodie sweatshirt is one of my favorites. It is tailored in all the right places making it flattering but isn’t so snug you feel like a sausage. We all know those sweatshirts, when they look really cute and slimming on…as long as you’re sucking in and don’t eat a meal when you’re wearing them. Am I right?

I wear this mock neck tunic on repeat with the leggings below. I know “leggings and a tunic” is a total cliche for the unofficial mom uniform but it’s all about comfort for me these days, especially in the winter.

I cannot take credit for this find, but these leggings were recommended by Holy City Chic and I have been living in them ever since. They are insanely soft, come in lots of different colors, and have become my new go to legging. I have them in the full length but also ordered two pairs of the 7/8 length for spring.

I have shared this hoodie in the past but I love it so much I had to share it again. I ordered a size up for more room and have it in both colors. It is cozy and lightweight, perfect for running errands or lounging around the house.

These supersoft lightweight joggers are another favorite. They aren’t as heavy as sweatpants which I appreciate and if you don’t want to be in PJ pants but also don’t want something quite as tight as leggings, these are the ticket.

Onto the dry shampoo…these are my two favorites. They don’t turn your hair white, they last all day, and add that extra volume we all love while actually helping lift oil and dirt. For both I recommend letting them sit for a few seconds before brushing out. If you don’t use these products already, you are going to fall in love…enjoy! I have tried every dry shampoo brand out there, you name it and chances are I have tried it.

As for the coffee, I tend to get fresh ground coffee at a local coffee shop or in a pinch I stock up at Trader Joes. However, I am a coffee cup addict and have unintentionally become somewhat of a collector. You may argue a coffee cup is just a mug, but I beg to differ. I am all about the shape of the cup and it has to feel right when I’m holding it. If it’s too small, I can’t get cozy wrapping my hand around the mug to warm my hands (added plus!) and if it’s too big then it’s just too awkward to hold. Fellow coffee and tea enthusiasts, you understand, right?

I know know Valentine’s Day is over, but I will be using this year round. It’s my new go to favorite. Oh and did I mention, it’s on sale for $6 right now!

I haven’t had a chance to try them out yet but I finally broke down and ordered a set of Tory Burch Spongewear mugs. My friend has some and once I tried hers out I was sold. Plus they are just so pretty!

These are my favorite disposable coffee cups. I have one in cupholder during carpool line every morning and it’s one of those little things that makes me happy amidst the chaos of getting two toddlers dressed and out the door before 8am.

I know it wasn’t my normal Fashion Friday type of post, but I was really excited to share some of my tried and true favorites with you for lazy days (and snow days) and I hope you like them as much as I do!
