The Watch List: Katie Gibson Interiors

Since much of my time is spent looking at beautiful homes, I am always on the hunt for new, up and coming designers and architects whose work I can share with you and help promote through the blog. I love hearing from readers saying they have discovered a new designer through my posts and it inspired me to begin a slight twist on some of my Designer Spotlights and begin featuring some of my favorite designers to watch!

Katie Gibson

Today in The Watch List I’m sharing the work of Nashville based interior designer, Katie Gibson, who opened her own firm in 2014 after studying under renown interior designer, Jonathan Savage. Gibson’s interiors are perhaps best described as fresh traditional and are bright and airy with an almost ethereal feel. She utilizes soft, neutral palettes with clean, traditional lines and effortlessly blends a mix of contemporary and European inspired accents. Gibson’s keen eye and attention to detail give the spaces she decorates an undeniable sense of harmony and balance which is reflected in her beautifully styled vignettes and warm, approachable interiors. I hope you love her work as much as I do!

P.S. Katie Gibson’s instagram account is equally as lovely and she shares lots of dreamy color palettes and design schemes for up and coming projects. It’s definitely one to follow!
