A Beautiful Blue and Green NYC Apartment

By now you probably know my admiration for the work of designer, editor and tastemaker Ariel Okin. I featured her work on a stunning NYC Four Seasons residence here last month and when I saw this feature of her home in Domino, I knew I had to share her work again. Ariel has become somewhat of an “Instagram friend” and I could not be prouder of all the attention her work is getting- it is so well deserved! She and her husband recently had their first child and you would never know that their flawlessly chic NYC home was a rental property.

In her home, Ariel uses lots of soft neutrals and textured accents to create a sense of relaxed elegance and natural light. She layers blues and greens and unique accents throughout the home, creating her trademark fresh, traditional aesthetic with the subtlest contemporary edge. I am sure you are going to love her home as much as I do and I have added a few items at the end of the post to help you get the look of her dreamy bedroom.

Happy Wednesday!

The perfect place to start the day with a hot cup of coffee! I love the pairing of the botanical prints, jute runner, and those parquet floors are just beautiful!

Her transformation of a closet to a blue and white wet bar is loaded with design inspiration and serves as the perfect place to store barware and blue and white accents

The dining area has a contemporary edge and mixed seating adds an easy elegance to the space

The bedroom could not be more beautiful! The layering is inspired and the varying textures from the rattan stools to the caning on the bed is so soothing.

I am officially jealous that her dog gets to have such a gorgeous bedroom too!

This office/guest room space would make me want to work every day. Every single detail is absolute eye candy!
