Where did the Summer go? I remember thinking January-March was creeping by and now I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. My son turns three at the end of the month and my daughter just turned five and started Kindergarten last week! A few of you have asked about our fertility journey and our struggle to have a third child. For now, it seems that a third is not in God’s plan for us and this is something I think I have (almost) come to terms with. I trust His plan infinitely but sometimes it is easy to forget that his plans are even better than my dreams. For example, the blog has been an incredible outlet and has grown faster than I could have ever imagined! Not only have I been helping quite a few of you in selecting and ordering fabrics for your own homes but now that school has started again and I have more time, I’m thrilled to be taking on more e-designs and some really excited collaborations!
With everything going on and despite the fact that we are still looking for our forever house, I have decided to redo our daughter’s room- which you probably know by now if you follow my Instagram stories. I shared a sneak peek of her bed frame and the window treatment fabric and figured it was time to finally share my (still developing) plan on the blog! I already have her bed, which is a gorgeous white caned Yves Delorme hand me down that looks almost identical to the bed shared below. The walls are already painted and the ceiling fixture is up. I’m currently in the process of ordering the fabric and having the roman shades made and then comes my favorite part, the styling! I can’t wait to share the final result with you!
Up She Grows!
P.S. The link for the fabric is actually a wallpaper link. Lauren can make it in fabric but it is only printed to order so if you want to purchase the fabric too, just reach out to her directly. She is the sweetest!!
