Designer Spotlight: Grace Hill Design

Grace Hill Design is a Minnesota design firm run by founder and principal interior designer Kristi Patterson. Kristi not only runs a full time design firm that also includes e-design but she also has as a retail and online shop to help you get the look in your own home. I always recommend her shop as a great source for pillows.

My favorite thing about Patterson and her team is that their aesthetic is polished, classic and fresh but also incredibly relatable. Don’t get me wrong, I adore hand painted Gracie wallpaper and treillage ceilings but they aren’t always attainable or practical for every day living. Grace Hill Design provides inspiration that is beautiful and accessible in a way that allows it to serve as a design blueprint. Splashes of color, symmetry and modern elements grace their interiors and their Instagram account is a great resource especially for younger home owners. I hope you like their work as much as I do!

A fresh and contemporary blue and white family room

Chairs upholstered in Thibaut’s Shoji Panel fabric make a lovely statement and help create an illusion of additional texture

I always love offices with a touch of glam. I have a feeling I would get a lot for work done in this sunny space. Did you notice the raspberry welting on the winged back chair?
A neutral backdrop creates the perfect moment for some fun pattern play with custom throw pillows

I personally am not usually a fan of rustic design, but this kitchen is the perfect chic spin on modern farmhouse style

Have you ever seen such a fun and cheerful bar area? The attention to detail and symmetry are a home run

Unexpected pops of green and color bring this family friendly kitchen to life

Romantic details and mirrored furniture create a subtle feminine feel in this master bedroom
I don’t know one parent who doesn’t dream of a mudroom like this. An abundance of seating and storage, paired with a built in work space for homework and arts and crafts. Heaven!
