The Friday Five

The Friday Five

I’m one of those people who waits for Christmas the moment the clock strikes midnight on November 1st but as soon as January 2nd or 3rd rolls around, my mind shifts towards warmer weather, refreshing my planters and trips back to the beach. Am I the only one? Regardless, it feels so good being back in our regular routine and it’s allowed me to catch up on some of my favorite blogs, new decor arrivals and of course beautiful interiors. Here are five of my favorite things from this week!

ONE

A beautiful Low Country South Carolina home featured on the blog Blue and White Home

TWO

Table Lamps Under $300

THREE

I added this bag to my ever growing MZ Wallace collection this week and I cannot recommend it enough. They just can’t make anything that isn’t a home run for me. I got the medium in magnet and it’s the perfect size for moms who are past the diaper bag phase, but want something big enough to hold their makeup and wallet along with sippy cups and snacks. I also keep the crossbody strap on it all times and have loved being able to carry it (like a non-parent) when I am alone and then just throw it over my shoulder and convert it to a crossbody in seconds if I’m running errands with the kids.

FOUR

I really enjoyed this article in Architectural Digest about how wicker is back. I only had one question, when did it ever really leave?

FIVE

I shared this image of a few details from daughters bedroom and am so excited for it finally come together! I got lots of questions about the sources so here they are: her bedding is a combination of this set and this set. I couldn’t believe that the pink on both is nearly identical and works perfectly together. The soft purple chinoiserie fabric on her bolster coordinates with her roman shades and I simply adore it. It also comes in pink, blue and turquoise. I’m having Euro shams made from this treillage fabric from Alexis Walter Maison. The last thing featured in the sneak peek was this rug from Annie Selke. Although it’s definitely an investment piece, I know it will hold up well and clean easily. I have had nothing but great experiences with Dash & Albert (Annie Selke) rugs so it one of the first places I looked when shopping for her room.

Have a great weekend!

XO,

Sophie
