You all have loved the Designers to Watch posts so much that I’ve recently added another segment to the blog called The A-List, showcasing some of my favorite architects! Last month I shared the work Douglas VanderHorn Architects and today I’m thrilled to be featuring the work of Texas based architectural firm, William S. Briggs. Briggs believes good architecture can exist within any style and is known for his attention to architectural order, clarity, proportion and authenticity. His architectural approach is rooted in classicism, designing homes that are traditional and enduring with a contemporary edge.

From their new work to renovations of significant Dallas homes, Williams S. Briggs’ portfolio illustrates the firm’s impressive range and ability to put clients’ personal style first. Whether it’s pairing casement windows with traditional brick facades or accenting paneled archways with contemporary lines, there is a modernity to their work that is not only bold and dynamic but also possesses a timelessness and sense of repose. I had so much fun gathering images of their work to share with you today and I hope you are as inspired as their work as I am!
P.S. For fellow architecture geeks, I adore the sketches they share on their Instagram and in their portfolio. I’m constantly trying to learn more about architectural design and it’s fascinating seeing the origins of thought behind such beautiful homes!
