Introducing My “Favorite Things” Collection with Maize Clarke!

It’s hard to believe May is here! It feels like just yesterday we were setting goals and planning for 2020. Like for most of you, juggling responsibilities over the past few weeks has been hard to say the least. However, some really exciting things have been happening over the past month for the blog which has been such a welcome distraction! Last month, I launched a Mother’s Day Bracelet collaboration with Hazen & Co. which sold out in less than a week- thanks to you all! Finally, today I can share a project that has been in the works since January, my Favorite Things Collection with Maizie Clarke!

The Soph-isticated Style X Maizie Clarke Collection

It’s no secret that I have an affinity for classic elements of style, palettes of blues and greens and subtle chinoiserie chic accents. Timeless interiors and gardens bring me so much joy and whether it’s our mutual love of hydrangeas and boxwood topiaries or bamboo chairs and traditional interiors, having this community of like-minded design lovers has been incredible. So when Maizie Clarke mentioned creating a collection using her hand painted illustrations, I jumped at the chance. I immediately thought about how much fun it’s been sharing interior and home inspiration with you, what if I included some of these favorite things in a design and actually made something for you to put in your own homes?!

Details of the illustrations

Maizie paints the most beautiful watercolor illustrations and our hope was to create pieces that would not only brighten up your own home but could also serve as sweet and thoughtful gifts. It felt like such an odd time to launch, so in light of the times we made sure to keep everything under $40. Even better, the ceramic pieces are food safe and the towels are machine washable.

We all love a timeless trinket tray and if you’re like me you can never have too may beautiful dish towels. We spend a day a good majority of our days in the kitchen (and are trying to conserve paper towels right now anyway), so why not have something you can use that’s not only practical but also beautiful? We also thought they would make the perfect thoughtful and easy hostess gift!

The dish towels are the perfect item to buy a few of and keep in a drawer to pull out and pair with a bottle of wine!

Hostess Gift Ideas

After seeing the dish towel, I just knew we had to take a few of those elements and put them on some of Maizie’s beautiful ceramic pieces. So we also created two dishes- a bon bon dish and larger ruffle tray. I love using mine as ring dishes, candy dishes and catchalls, but they’re also perfect for styling in almost any room in your home.

The small ruffle trinket tray/bon bon dish is customizable with three of the elements from the dish towel: the wreath with the blue bow, the ginger jar and the chair! You can click the images below to shop:

The larger ruffle tray is perfect for anything from holding anything from appetizers and desserts to bracelets or simply using it for decoration.

It’s been so much fun and an honor being able to share beautiful interiors and finds with you. Therefore, having the opportunity to design and create something for you to put in your own homes has been so exciting, albeit a little scary (because what if no one likes them)! I truly hope you love everything as much as we do and that you want to include them in your homes and lives as well as in those of the ones you love.

P.S. I would love to see how you style them in your homes and as gifts, so please share! You can also shop the collection online at or here!

I’m so sorry! As of now we aren’t restocking but the trinket dishes come in three more patterns that are all from the towel!
