It’s no secret that I’m a fan of neutrals. My closet is full of them- aside from my Elsa tops– and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Instead, I tend to add colorful pieces to layer work into my wardrobe and keep it interesting and fresh. So, today I thought I’d share a few of colorful pieces I’ve been living in all summer that can also be used year round.
Sheridan French is one of those accounts on Instagram that stops me in my tracks. She is wonderful, her textiles are gorgeous and her clothing is nothing short of fabulous. A tank + this skirt are the perfect effortless outfit combo quarantine or not. I do recommend sizing up. There are a ton of styles but I love this one because you can wear it with so many tops and it can be worn year round.
They look mint green in the picture, but they are really a true turquoise. If I’m not in studs or gold hoops, I’m in these earrings from T. Marie Designs. They go with everything and are another piece that worn year round. Basically you can’t go wrong and I can’t rave about them enough. Trust me, if you get the, you won’t regret it.
I don’t know where to start with this tote. Mine doesn’t have as many pompoms but otherwise it is the exact same ( but with my initials obviously) and I LOVE it. It’s so much bigger than it looks online and we all need all the extra sparkle we can get these days. Pair that with how well it’s made and it’s worth the splurge. Oh and did I mention my daughter has a mini one? I’ll share in my stories today but its from Colores Collective which I can never get enough of so it’s a no brainer in my book because I want everything on their site. It’s sold out but I still check daily to see if this caftan is back in stock too but it might be a pipe dream at this point.
My scarf is on sale right now and for all of my fellow blue and green lovers, it’s the perfect scarf! I pair it with a maxi dress or white shorts and black or navy top and it has become part of my uniform.
Okay, so it’s not colorful at all but if getting more dressed up, have meetings to want a little extra flash, this bangle from Susan Shaw is one of my go-tos well as this one and this one. It’s classic, the perfect weight and can be dressed up or down.
I’ve shared The Rowe before but I cannot get enough of their stacks. I’m constantly adding colors to my collection and recently got two more bracelets that are personalized with my children’s names.
Also not color and I’ve shared these sunnies until I’m blue in the face, but I will keep sharing them happily because they are just that good and are under $40.
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to get out of those sweats! They are comfy but you will feel like a new person putting on “real” clothes for a few hours. Trust me!
